He holds a bachelor’s degree in Numerical Analysis and Partial Differential Equations from Universidad del Valle (2008), a master’s degree in Mathematics from Universidad del Valle (2013), a PhD in Mathematics from the National Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics (IMPA) (2018), and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (2019).

He is currently a researcher affiliated with the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), and the Minas Gerais Research Foundation (FAPEMIG). He has experience in Mathematics, working mainly on Riemann problems and conservation laws.
