Grigori Chapiro

Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (2003), a Master’s degree in Computational Modeling (2005), and a Ph.D. in Mathematics (2009) from the National Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics (IMPA). Currently, he is a Full Professor and Coordinator of the Laboratory of Applied Mathematics (LAMAP) at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora. Main research areas include mathematical and computational modeling of fluid flow in porous media and mosquito population dynamics.
