He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, with an emphasis on energy. During his undergraduate studies, he carried out research and development activities in the field of energy. He has strong computational skills and a keen interest in computational modeling in engineering applications.
During his master’s studies, he investigated conservative numerical methods for the simulation of two-phase flow in porous media. As a PhD researcher and postdoctoral fellow, his work focuses on conservative methods applied to enhanced oil recovery using foam.
