The Laboratory of Applied Mathematics (LAMAP) at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora was inaugurated in 2016 as an interdisciplinary research laboratory, with strong collaborations with the postgraduate programs in Mathematics and Computational Modeling.

On October 31, 2017, the laboratory was accredited by ANP in the research line “Modeling and analysis of fluid displacement in porous media”.
