He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (2006), a master’s degree in Computational Modeling from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (2008), and a PhD from the National Laboratory for Scientific Computing. He has experience in Computer Science and Computational Modeling, with an emphasis on high-performance computing, numerical methods for the solution of differential equations, cardiac electrophysiology modeling, and computational mechanics. He is currently a professor in the Department of Computer Science and the coordinator of the Graduate Program in Computational Modeling at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora.
