
He earned a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the Fluminense Federal University (2007), a master’s degree in Computational Modeling from the National Laboratory for Scientific Computing (2010), and a PhD in Computational Modeling from the National Laboratory for Scientific Computing (2015). He is currently a professor in the Department of Computer Science and in the Graduate Program in Computational Modeling at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora. His research interests include fluid transport and wave propagation, with a focus on the numerical solution of heterogeneous and coupled problems using stabilized hybrid and p-adaptive finite element methods.
