The Brazilian Aging Research & Technology Symposium (BARTS) is an interdisciplinary and international event that will have its second edition in May 25 – 26th, 2024 at Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora (UFJF), Juiz de Fora-Mg, Brazil.

Topics:

Are you interested in slowing down the aging process? Any research topics related to understanding the aging process are welcome.

  • Mathematical modeling of age-associated diseases;
  • Mathematical modeling of biological phenomena associated to aging and/or cell senescence;
  • Pharmacology research related to aging;
  • Drug development;
  • Other related topics.

The program consists of invited lectures and poster presentation.

  • The lectures will have 30 min with 10 min for discussion.
  • Poster presentations will have 5 min (bring your poster).

Graduate and Undergraduate Students are encouraged to submit abstracts for poster presentations.

🏆 A prize will be offered for best posters.

Submission:

Posters will be selected upon submission of an abstract. The document should contain the Title, Authors and Affiliations, the Abstract and main References. It should contain up to 2 pages. Only PDF documents will be accepted.
