Tiago M. Magalhães is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Exact Sciences at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, where he also served as Associate Chair of the Department of Statistics. He holds a BA in Statistics (magna cum laude) from the Federal University of Ceará, and both an MS and PhD in Statistics from the University of São Paulo. Before joining academia, he worked as a Senior Quantitative Research Analyst at Itaú Asset Management, Itaú-Unibanco Bank. His research interests include applied statistics, regression models, and statistical inference.
