She works in research related to health service evaluation and professional performance, infectious diseases, the epidemiology of leprosy and the prevalence of infection in household and social contacts of leprosy cases and in the general population through serological markers.

 

Anna Maria de Oliveira Salimena

PhD in Nursing from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She develops qualitative research studies with an emphasis on phenomenology in the framework of Martin Heidegger, working mainly on the following themes: Surgical Nursing, Women’s Health Nursing, Gynecological Cancer, Hemodialysis, Feelings, Death and Termination.
